DUSHANBE, August 10, 2015, Asia-Plus —  A young Tajik religious activist, scientist in the sphere of Islam, Khairiddini Abdullo (Dostakov), severely injured and with multiple knife wounds has been hospitalized in Moscow clinic named after Sklifosovskiy.


As has been said by the official representative of the Tajik Embassy in Russia, Muhammad Egamzod, an attack was committed by unknown people on 7 August at 7.00 pm in the area of the metro station “Ryazanskiy prospect”.


“The doctors evaluate the condition of the victim as very ill, but hope for the better” – Egamzod said.

The Embassy of Tajikistan strongly urges the relevant bodies of Moscow to take all measures for solving this crime.


According to Egamzod, the victim has always been against radical movements in Islam and is an author of numerous articles on traditional Islam.
