DUSHANBE, March 18, 2016, Asia-Plus – Practically Tajik Internet service providers (ISPs) have reportedly unblocked social networks and the popular video-sharing website.

Practically all Tajik ISPs unblocked the social-media websites Facebook, Odnoklassniki.ru and VKontakte as well as the popular video-sharing website YouTube on March 17.

We will recall that the social-media website were blocked in the country in early September last year during a mutiny led by former deputy defense minister Abduhalim Nazarzoda, when after clashes in and around Dushanbe killed 22 people, including nine police and 13 militants.
