The Ministry of transport jointly with the Ministry of defense of the Republic were instructed within three months to officially register all unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) used in the country.

Licensing and registration of drones these ministries should carry out in coordination with the State Committee of national security of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Import, export and use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the country will continue to be carried out solely on the basis of a special permit, which would be issued in coordination with the national security Committee.

Earlier, the state Committee for national security said about the danger that can represent the drones to the security of the country, including drones used for filming.

In this regard, in April this year Tajik Parliament has introduced amendments to the Air Code of the RT, assuming control over the drones.

First Deputy Chairman of SCNS of the RT Mansurjon Umarov on April 6, speaking at a meeting of the lower house of Parliament, when amendments to the Air code of Tajikistan were adopting, noted that these amendments are aimed primarily at preventing drones of the terrorist organizations.

"Now only the government will determine who can and who cannot use these machines over our territory", – said Umarov.
