Tajik President Emomali Rahmon today sent messages of condolences to US President Donald Trump, Swiss President Alain Berset and the King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander over the July 29 deadly accident that left two nationals of the United States, one national of Switzerland and one national of the Netherlands dead, according to the Tajik president’s official website. 

Tajik leader also asked to convey his deep condolences to families and relatives of those who were killed in that accident.

Rahmon noted that relevant services of Tajikistan were taking all necessary measures to identify and bring to justice those responsible for that severe act.  

Recall, four foreign cyclists killed and three others injured during a bike tour in Danghara district on Sunday when a car hit them before fleeing the scene.  Tajik authorities announced later that there had been one arrest and the deaths of two other suspects during a special operation launched to find those responsible for the deadly hit-and-run incident.
