The government of Tajikistan has drafted a bill requiring amendments to the country’s law on other mandatory payments to the budget and submitted it for consideration to the parliament.

The bill, in particular, provides for introducing mandatory payment for permit to construct residential buildings and shops in Dushanbe.  The fee rate will be set by the government.

The received funds will be transferred to a special account that will be opened by the Ministry of Finance.

The federally funded organizations are exempted from paying this fee.
