Presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, a government session took place in Dushanbe on March 28.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the government discussed issues related to measures to ensure regular work of the country’s economy during autumn-winter 2019-2020.

Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda reported on preparing the social and economic spheres for autumn-winter period.  

Minister of Finance Fayziddin Qahhorzoda reported on amendments proposed ny the government to the country’s laws on the national budget for 2019 and other mandatory payments.

The session also heard reports by Minister of Energy and Water Resources Usmonali Usmonzoda, Minister of Health and Social Protection Nasim Olimzoda and Minister of Industry and New Technologies Zarobiddin Fayzullozoda.  

Besides, the session participants discussed bills on amendments proposed the law on inspection of economic entities’ activities and the administrative code.  They also discussed government’s proposal regarding the draft law on pastures.

The bills were sent for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), the president’s website said.
