Thirty-eight countries of the world have provided 19,955 million U.S. dollars’ worth of 6,464.3 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first four months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among donors countries the greatest share reportedly came from Russia – 14.8 percent; Switzerland – 13.9 percent; China – 5.5 percent; Japan – 3.7 percent; India – 2.6 percent; Denmark – 2.4 percent; Belgium – 1.8 percent; Finland – 1.7 percent; United States – 1.4 percent; Germany – 1.2 percent; Italy – 1.0 percent; Pakistan and Uzbekistan – 0.8 percent each; United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Netherlands – 0.7 percent each;   and others.
