“Horizons of Independence” by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has won the Grand Prix of the international contest “The Art of Book” that took place in Minsk, Belarus, according to the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan.  

The book by Tajik President has reportedly won the Grand Prix in the “My Country” nomination.

“Horizons of Independence” has been published by the publishing house Irfon this year.  

“Horizons of Independence” tells about the historical process of formation of national statehood, about the achievements, victories and successes of Tajikistan.  Emomali Rahmon examines the political and social evolution of the nation.

The international contest “The Art of Book” has been held since 2004 under support of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.  This year, 75 books from six CIS member nations namely Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan have been presented at the contest.
