Moscow calls on Dushanbe and Kabul to "search for mutually acceptable options".

Moscow is recording reports about the pulling together of troops by Tajikistan and Afghanistan to the common border, Alexei Zaitsev, Deputy Director of the Department for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told reporters at a briefing in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the Taliban movement, tens of thousands of special forces fighters are deployed in the Afghan border province of Takhar alone, "Zaitsev said at a briefing.

In this regard, he noted that Moscow calls on Dushanbe and Kabul to "search for mutually acceptable options for resolving the current situation".
