President Emomali Rahmon introduced staff changes to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 12.

By president’s decree Jamshed Homidov was relieved of his post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Spain in connection with transfer to other job.  

Besides, by president’s decree the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Swiss Confederation Sharaf Sheralizoda is appointed concurrent Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva 

Recall, Sharaf Sheralizoda was appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Swiss Confederation on May 31, 223. 

Prior to this, he had served as Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan since 2021.
