FIFA referee Gulmurodi Sadullo from Tajikistan was appointed to the match of the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament. This was announced by the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

Gulmurodi Sadullo, along with his team, will judge the meeting of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament in Group “C” between the national teams of China and Saudi Arabia, which will be held on September 10 in Dalian, China.

Gulmurodi Sadullo, 33, will be assisted on the lines by his compatriots, assistant referees of FIFA Hassan Karimov and Vafo Karaev. FIFA referee Nasrullo Kabirov will perform the functions of the reserve referee.

Two arbitrators from Thailand will work on VAR (video assistance system for arbitrators).

It should be noted that Gulmurodi Sadullo and several other Tajik referees are included in the list of elite referees of the Asian Football Confederation.
