At the meeting held on August 29, the Government of Tajikistan adopted the National Civil Aviation Safety Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025-2030.

According to the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the purpose of the program is to ensure the safety of passengers, flight personnel, ground personnel, protect airport facilities and infrastructure, as well as improve the efficiency of international civil aviation flights in Tajikistan.

The meeting, chaired by President Emomali Rahmon, also adopted a resolution on the “Strategy for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases and injuries in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040”.

Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda said that the strategy defines the goals, objectives and priorities of early detection of diseases, reducing morbidity, premature mortality and disability from noncommunicable diseases, improving the quality of life.

The main directions of the strategy's implementation are the promotion of the principles of a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of noncommunicable diseases among the population.

Emomali Rahmon instructed ministries and departments, as well as local authorities, to take the necessary measures to implement the document.

It was decided to create a state institution, the “National Center for the Implementation of the Paris Agreement” (the Paris Agreement was adopted within the framework of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and regulates measures to reduce carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. – notes “Asia-Plus”), as well as on the procedure for assigning targeted social benefits, determining its size and low-income citizens in the republic.

The President also drew the attention of government members to the need for serious preparations for the start of the new academic year and for the winter season.

During the meeting, drafts of a number of laws were discussed and sent to the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli, including “On the Unified State System of Registration and accounting of Offenses”, on amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan and on amendments and additions to the law “On Financial Leasing”.
