Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has congratulated President Prabowo Subianto on his inauguration as President of the Republic of Indonesia.  

Tajik president’s official website says Emomali Rahmon on October 22 sent a telegram of congratulations to President Prabowo Subianto, in which he congratulates him on his inauguration and expresses his wishes for health and success in Indonesia’s development plans, hoping that they would bring peace, stability, and prosperity to the Indonesian people.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, Emomali Rahmon also He also emphasized his optimism about the friendly relations between Tajikistan and Indonesia, reaffirming his commitment to working together to strengthen cooperation between the two nations.

Rahmon highlighted the importance of continuing constructive dialogue at all levels and expressed confidence that future meetings would further promote bilateral cooperation.

The inauguration of Prabowo Subianto as the eighth president of Indonesia took place on Sunday, 20 October 2024, at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta.  This inauguration marks the start of the five-year term of Prabowo Subianto as president and Gibran Rakabuming as vice president.

Diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Indonesia and Tajikistan entered the 30th year in August this year.

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Indonesia were established on August 27, 1994.

Trade and economic cooperation between the two countries has expanded on the basis of government-to-government between them as well as other legal documents.
