During a working visit to Sughd province, President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated several industrial facilities in the region on November 20, marking significant progress in regional development and economic growth, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

 

Industrial facilities inaugurated in Guliston

In the city of Guliston, the president opened the "Tiglat" factory, which produces paints and dry construction mixes. The factory is equipped with modern equipment and will produce 24 types of construction paints, 9 types of alkyd paints, and 9 types of dry mixes. The plant's capacity is expected to meet domestic demand, increase exports, and create new jobs.

After the factory’s opening, President Rahmon remotely launched the operations of several social and industrial projects:

·         The renovated Primary Health Care Center building in Guliston, featuring 116 renovated offices and auxiliary rooms.

·         The "Orzui Alo" gas block production plant, with a capacity of 2,000 blocks per shift, providing 30 jobs.

·         The "Istiqloli Guliston" modern poultry farm, housing 30,000 birds and producing 400 tons of meat annually.

·         The "Tovus" refrigerated warehouse with a capacity of 1,000 tons (400 tons of meat and 600 tons of fruits and vegetables).

 

New projects opened in Bobojon-Ghafourov District

In the Bobojon-Ghafourov district, the president opened the "Chavroq" plastic products factory, capable of producing up to 155,000 units per day and providing jobs for more than 10 people. He also called for improved quality control and production expansion.

Additionally, a 600-ton refrigerated storage facility for agricultural products was launched. Equipped with modern technology, it is already receiving four types of grapes.

The president urged the effective use of these facilities to ensure year-round availability of domestic products.

During an online ceremony, the president opened six new facilities, built with the support of local authorities and entrepreneurs:

·         The "Khishthi Orom" brick factory in Dadoboy Kholmatov village, producing up to 100,000 bricks per day with automated equipment, providing 25 jobs.

·         The "Faizi Buston" gas block factory in Ghoziyon village, with an investment of 32 million somonis and a capacity of 72,000 m³ per year, creating 55 jobs.

·         A large poultry farm by "Anko-Invest" in Yova village, producing up to 6 million chicks annually.

·         The renovated educational building, cafeteria, and dormitory of the Vocational Training Lyceum, costing 4 million somonis.

·         The private "Akhtaroni Mehr" kindergarten with a capacity for 360 children.

·         A new Cultural Palace in Dadoboy Kholmatov village, a two-story building with 300 seats, a library, a wedding hall, and classrooms.

These six projects have created 230 permanent jobs.
