DUSHANBE, September 6, 2013, Asia-Plus – Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) MP from Ar-Namys fraction, Tursunbay Bakir uulu, proposed during parliament session on 5 September to award Tajik citizen, Nouriddin Temirov posthumously.
This is about the Director of Nazaraylaq coal mine, 59-year-old Nouriddin Temirov, who was killed by unidentified persons at night of 2 September in Rasht administrative center – Gharm. Gunmen entered Nazaraylaq Director’s office and shot seven bullets into his head and chest, as a result of which he died in the same place.
Vecherniy Bishkek, a Kyrgyz newspaper reports from the words of the Kyrgyz politician that Nouriddin Temirov put a lot of effort to resolve the Batkent conflict many years ago.
Mr. Bakir uulu said: “He participated in Batkent events, went to Afghanistan, negotiated with the Taliban and took part in the liberation of four Japanese hostages. His services to Kyrgyzstan are great, although he is a citizen of Tajikistan. Let’s give him a posthumous award – he deserves it.”
