DUSHANBE, September 6, 2013, Asia-Plus – During the extraordinary conference of Soghd Provincial cell of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Khojand, 281 members of PDP from Soghd were chosen as delegates for the October 4 Party Congress, where the PDP candidate for president will be chosen.
The Head of PR and Propaganda Department of the PDP, Usman Saliev, told Aisa-Plus that the results of the provincial cell of PDP for the past year were also discussed during the conference, as well as primary goals of the cell for the presidential elections.
Participation of over 1 thousand members of PDP is expected in the Congress. It is not decided yet in which of Dushanbe’s halls will the event take place.
