DUSHANBE, September 17, 2013, Asia-Plus — Today, President Emomali Rahmon attended an opening ceremony for a new kindergarten in Khujand, the capital of the northern Sughd province.
Built on the area of 3 hectares with investment up to 25 million somoni, the kindergarten will accommodate 1,000 children, the president’s official website reports. 260 specialists will work with this kindergarten.
Tajik president reportedly donated one ambulance, two 40 seat buses and one truck to the kindergarten.
During the kindergarten-opening ceremony, President Rahmon held a meeting with representatives of the Sughd educational sector. More than 2,000 representatives of the Sughd educational sector attended the meeting.
