Badakhshan province reserve soldiers and officers will go through practical military exercises in Tem exercises field in Kharough, according to the Defense Ministry Spokesperson, Faredun Mahmadaliev.
The source said: “Military equipment and small arms will be used during the exercises, planned by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.”
According to him, Ministry of Defense representatives and Badakhshan provincial authorities in charge of the territorial defense will check the provincial reserve soldiers’ and officers’ readiness for disaster management, interaction with troops during emergency situations, as well as their ability to use small arms and military equipment.
Colonel Mahmadaliev said: “The main goal of organizing the exercises for Badakhshan reserve soldiers and officers is to check their readiness to repel sudden strikes from the outside.”
