Drug Control Agency officers identified another drug den in within the city of Dushanbe, which was found based on an operational information.

A 24-year old unemployed woman, born in Rudaki district, who has two underage children, is detained on suspicion of organizing and maintaining the den.

In the moment of detention, there were eight people in the house, four of whom were women aged 19 to 30. All the eight persons were under drug influence and could not provide clear answers to the investigators’ questions.

As a result of the operation, during a search with a search dog, a number of one-time dozes of drugs were found, which were ready for use.

After further search operations, a 33-year old resident of Dushanbe, who was providing drugs to those living in the house and to its owner for the past two years, was detained. A criminal case has been opened, and investigation is ongoing.

The owner of the house and the “provider” are currently detained and are now in the Agency’s detention facility. After the investigation is completed, the case will be handed over to the court.

It is worth to note that in the past two months it is the second such case.
