DUSHANBE, June 9, Asia-Plus  — Homid Qosimov, a chief accountant with the Jabborrasulov district government, Sughd province has been detained on suspicion of having misappropriated state funds, according to the Agency for State Finance Control and Combating Corruption.   

The source at the anticorruption agency said that Qosimov is suspected of having misappropriated 130,548 somonis of state funds through drawing forged documents  

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Qosimov under the provisions of two articles of Tajikistan’s Criminal Code – Article 245 (embezzlement or misappropriation) and Article 323 (service forgery).
