DUSHANBE, March 5, 2015, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s upper house (Majlisi Milli) of parliament has given consent to the appointment of deputy prosecutors general.
The last 21st session of the Majlisi Milli of the fourth convocation, presided over by its head, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, took place in Dushanbe on March 5.
The session is considering a number of laws adopted by Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) this year.
The Majlisi Milli also considered candidacies for deputy prosecutors general and gave consent the appointment of Narzullo Nazarzoda as the first deputy prosecutor general, Muhammadibrohim Osimzoda and Vali Vahhobzoda as deputy prosecutors general, and Rahim Mirzozoda as chief military prosecutor and deputy prosecutor general.
The Majlisi Milli also gave consent to the relieving of Abduqodir Muhammadiyev, Habibullo Vohidov, Abdurahsid Kishvarzoda and Khairullo Saidzoda of their posts of deputy prosecutors general in connection with transfer to other jobs.
