In connection with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan and the upcoming holiday Kurban Bayram Tajik people will rest for four days in a row.

The Federation of independent trade unions of Tajikistan reported that according to the law of the country "On holidays" every year in the Republic the 9th of September – the national Independence Day of Tajikistan – celebrates with a day off. In addition, Kurban Bayram holiday, which this year falls on Monday, September 12, is also celebrated with a day off.

A source denied rumors among the population that in the current year by decision of the government of Tajikistan in honor of the 25th anniversary of the state independence the 8th of September will be a holiday.
