33.9 million USD worth of humanitarian aid delivered Tajikistan in Jan-Sept 2016

Fifty-two countries of the world have provided 33.9 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first nine months of this year, which was 2.4 million U.S. dollars more than in the same period last year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan

In January-September 2015, thirty-six countries of the world provided 31.5 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan

Over the first nine months of this year, among the donor countries the greatest share in value reportedly came from China – 23.6 percent; Russia – 16.5 percent; India – 8.8 percent; Serbia – 8.2 percent; Belgium – 5.0 percent; Switzerland – 4.7 percent; Turkey – 4.3 percent; the United States  and Pakistan – 4.0 percent each; Kazakhstan – 3.4 percent; Germany – 2.9 percent; Denmark – 2.7 percent; South Korea – 2.0 percent; the Netherlands – 1.3 percent; Azerbaijan and France – 1.1 percent each; Thailand – 1.0 percent; Iran – 0.8 percent;  and others.

Recall that forty-two countries of the world reportedly provided 45 million U.S. dollars’ worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in 2015.
