A young woman from the northern Sughd province has stabbed her husband to death following family quarrel.

According to the Interior Ministry’s website, the tragedy took place in the Bobojon-Ghafourov district in the evening of December 5.  

A 22-year-old woman reportedly inflicted stab wound on her 22-year-old husband following family quarrel.  The man died in a hospital.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
