Some neighborhood units in Dushanbe will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply networks.
“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Lermontov, Huvaidullo Nazarov, Karamov, Kuprin Akhounbabayev, Lunacharsky and Nizhmy Varzob streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply networks said.
“Ayni and Yuzhnaya streets as well as Ispechak-1 and Hamadoni neighborhood units will also have no electricity from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm today,” the source added.
According to him, routine maintenance work will be carried out by turns on all power substations in the city until the beginning of the heating season.
