The Government of Tajikistan recommends that bathhouses and hairdressing shops be constructed in all rural areas of the country by 2021, when Tajikistan will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its Independence.

A source in the Tajik government says all these facilities will be constructed in accordance with president’s decree of May 22, 2018 and the minutes of the government’s sessions that took place on May 14 and May 26 this year.

According to him, local authorities and entrepreneurs will finance the construction of the mentioned facilities.

A special commission has been set up to choose projects and locations for construction of the facilities.  The commission will also monitor the construction progress, the source added.

Meanwhile, ten projects of bathhouses and hairdressing shops recommended for rural areas have been posted on the website of the Committee on Construction and Architecture under the Government of Tajikistan.
