All highways leading to Dushanbe will be closed for four days beginning on June 13

All highways leading to Dushanbe will be closed for four days from June 13-16 in connection with the fifth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) that will take place in the Tajik capital from June 14-15.

Besides, traffic will be restricted in the downtown Dushanbe during the summit.  According to the Interior Ministry of Tajikistan, traffic along Roudaki, Ayni and Ismoili Somoni avenues as well as Ahmadi Donish, Nizami Ganjavi, Mirzo Tursunzoda, Omar Khayyam, Huvaidulloyev, Karamov, Tehron, and Sherozi streets will be restricted from June 13-16.  

Presidents of twelve countries will arrive in Dushanbe for participation in the CICA summit.  Fifteen other member nations of the CICA will be represented at the summit by prime ministers, deputy prime ministers and foreign ministers.

A number of bilateral meetings are expected to take place on the sidelines of the CICA summit.
