One person was killed and one another serious injured on September 11 as a car hit them in  Vahdat Township, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.

The accident reportedly took place at around 4:00 pm.  The 24-year-old resident of the city of Norak Gurgillo Toirov apparently lost control of his Opel Vectra and it hit the 36-year-old Oiqul Buttayeva and her 6-year-old son Anis Mousoyev.

The boy died on the spot while his mother sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.  

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
