Two persons were killed and one injured in a traffic accident that took place in Vahdat Township on March 30, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.

The accident took place near the Autostantsiya bazaar in the morning at around 9:20 pm.  A 71-year-old resident of Vahdat reportedly lost control of his Lexus RX 150 and it hit three pedestrians (two women and one man).

Both women died on the spot while the man sustained various injuries and was taken to a hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
