A meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held in Dushanbe on September 17, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The Dushanbe summit will be attended by the heads of the SCO member states – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, heads of SCO observer states – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as guest of honor, as well as SCO Secretary General Vladimir Norov and Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure Jumakhon Giyosov.

The meeting will also be attended by the UN Secretary General (online) and heads of regional organizations – CIS, CSTO, CICA, ECO and EAEU.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese chairman Xi Jinping and Mongolian President Uhnaagiin Khurelsukh will attend the Dushanbe summit online, the Information Department of the Tajik Foreign Ministry reports.
