“Fined, not deported”. Ministry of Internal Affairs fined Afghans for non-compliance with the rules of stay in the country

Date:

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan fined 29 citizens of Afghanistan for violating the rules of stay in the republic.

The press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the Afghans were simply fined, and not deported from the country.

«We drew up administrative protocols and imposed fines on violators. They will be fined depending on their actions and the amount of the fine also depends on their actions», – declared in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

This department also noted that this year the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not registered a single case of forced deportation of Afghan citizens from Tajikistan.

«And the news about the forced deportation of Afghans has nothing to do with the Ministry of Internal Affairs», – reported in the ministry.
