Emomali Rahmon holds talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Sharm El Sheikh

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon yesterday met in Sharm El Sheikh with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of COP27. 

The Tajik president’s official website says the parties discussed state and prospects of further expansion of the bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan. 

They reportedly also exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries in the framework of regional international organizations, including the United Nations.
