During his visit to Muminobod district in Khatlon province, Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated a number of social facilities.

On Saturday October 21, President Emomali Rahmon attended an official opening ceremony of the Private Medical College in the administrative center of Muminobod district.

The President’s official website says this institution was built by local businessman Davlatkarim Safarov in a short period of time.

The Muminobod Private Medical College will accommodate 500 students in two shifts.  The institution consists of two faculties: 1) nursing; and 2) midwifery

According to the president’s official website, 180 students from different parts of the country were enrolled in the institution in the 2023-2024 academic year.   40 teachers reportedly teach at the College for students.

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon reportedly commissioned a modern two-story building of the Youth Center in Muminobod’s administrative center.

The total area of the facility is 2,700 square meters, and the building itself, including auxiliary facilities, has an area of 250 square meters.

The customer of the facility is the Youth and Sports Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the contractor is Muhayyo Limited Liability Company (LLC).
