Iranian delegation arrives in Tajikistan to discuss cooperation issues

Tajikistan’s state-run news agency Khovar reported yesterday that First Vice-President of the Islamic republic of Iran, Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, heading a government delegation, has arrived in Dushanbe for a three-day visit, from April 15 to April 17.

While in Dushanbe, Ali Najafi Khoshroudi will hold talks with Tajikistan Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister.  

Besides, he is reportedly also scheduled to meet ministers of foreign affairs, economic development and trade, energy and water resources, as well as industry and new technologies to discuss issues related to further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran in the mentioned sectors.  

Yesterday, Iranian guests reportedly visited the National Museum of Tajikistan and Istiqlol Square in Dushanbe.    

Meanwhile, reporting on Ali Najafi Khoshroudi’s meeting with Uzbekistan Ambassador to Iran Fariddin Nasriyev in Tehran on March 6, 2025, IRNA named him as the deputy for international affairs and regional cooperation at the office of the vice president.

Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade reporting on a meeting of the Uzbek Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov with Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, which took place in Tashkent on April 13, 2025, also named Ali Najafi Khoshroudi as Deputy First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for International Affairs and Regional Cooperation.
