DUSHANBE, September 7, 2010, Asia-Plus — Babilon-M (mobile phone operator) and Babilon-T (Internet provider) that are parts of one company have funded construction of five houses for disaster-hit families in Shuroobod district, Khatlon province.
The ceremony of handover of keys to new houses that took place on September 6 was attended by regional administrators of Khatlon province and senior representatives from the companies.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Babilon-T senior representative Kholiqnazar Jumayev noted that Babilon was among the first to support an initiative to construct new houses for disaster-hit families in Khatlon province, whose houses had been completely destroyed by the May heavy rainfalls and mudflows.
