KHUJAND, August 2, 2010, Asia-Plus  — More than 22,000 new jobs have been created in Sughd in January-June this year, Naim Malikislomov, the head of the Sughd social care, employment and migration agency, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

“Over the report period, 14,000 new jobs have been created in the industrial sector, some 7,300 new jobs have been created in the agrarian sector, 118 in the of transportation and communications, 661 in the construction sector, 11,682 in the sphere of commerce and services, 410 in the non-industrial sphere, and 685 new jobs have been created in other spheres,” he said.

In all, 34,175 new jobs are expected to be created in this province this year under the 2009-2015 concept for creation of new jobs in Sughd, Malikislomov added.
