DUSHANBE. June 4. “Asia-Plus” — Chairman of the Islamic Revival Party of Tajikistan Muhiddin Kabiri met yesterday with Austrian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ursula Faringer.

Acording to IRPT, the sides expressed their satisfaction over the existing level of cooperation between the Austrian embassy and IRPT and discussed the last February parliamentary elections.

“Expressing his disagreement with the elections, IRPT leader noted that they were conducted with multiple violations of the legislation of Tajikistan,” the source has said. “According to him, it is quite difficult to submit alternative draft laws to parliamentarians but IRPT is trying to express its view on all draft laws approved and considered by the parliament.”

The same day Kabiri met with representatives from Finnish universities to discuss development in education, science and conflict prevention sectors.
