DUSHANBE, December 31, 2009, Asia-Plus — The Coordination Council of Business Associations (Council) of Tajikistan held its last meeting of the year on December 29.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the Council head Nekrouy Zobirov said that the meeting had considered two issues: a list of participants of a meeting with the president scheduled for January 15, 2010; and the Council’s contribution to the Roghun hydroelectricity project.

“The Council members will visit the site for construction of the Roghun HPP on January 10, 2010 to familiarize themselves with progress of the construction work and make contribution to this project,” Zobirov said.

According to him, the meeting participants also decided to work out proposals and recommendations on improvement of the entrepreneurial environment in Tajikistan.  “After consideration of the 200 Days of Reforms Program, we have adopted recommendations on organizing an efficient and well-coordinated work,” the Council head added.
