DUSHANBE, September 8, 2009, Asia-Plus — Some four kilograms of heroin were seized in Dushanbe in an operation carried out by police yesterday, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that Dushanbe resident was arrested yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking. Some four kilograms of heroin were confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against him and an investigation is under way.
