Dushanbe. September 4. “Asia – Plus” – the first thermal of new power station in Dushanbe, erected by Chinese Tebian Electric Apparatus, will be put in operation on the eve of 18th anniversary of the RT state independence. As it became known to “AP” in the ministry of power and industry of the RT, after the start up of the first power station its capacity will reach 100 megawatt. After the start up of the second station, which is planned to be constructed in two years a designed capacity of the given object will teach 200 megawatt.
In the Ministry of Power and the Industry have informed, that the new power station will work at a local corner, will have a double protection at emission of harmful substances in an atmosphere. “The new power station, after start up will daily develop 4,8 million kw/h of the electric power, and will provide about 200 thousand Dushanbe citizens with hot water and heat”, – has emphasized a source, having added, that design cost of new thermal power station in Dushanbe is estimated in $30 million.
In the ministry have reminded, that in February of the current year a Minister of power and the industry of Tajikistan Gulom Sherali and the chairman of Chinese company Tebian Electric Apparatus Chzhan Sin have signed the Memorandum of cooperation in sphere of power in Dushanbe, according to which the Chinese company will construct in Dushanbe the heating line with capacity in 200 МВт, which will work on coal fuel. Besides according to the document, ТЕА will erect Nurabad HPS-1 on the river Hingob (200 МВт), and will also reconstructs Kurgan-Tyube transformer factory. The given projects will be realized by the Chinese side in exchange on one of the Tajik deposits, where the foreign company will conduct research works. Most likely, the mining deposit “Rangkul”, located in Pamir will be given to TEA.
