DUSHANBE, August 24, 2009, Asia-Plus  — The Dushanbe traffic police will hold a special operation, dubbed Children, from August 25 to September 10.

According to the Dushanbe traffic police press service, the operation aims to prevent traffic accidents involving children.

Since the beginning of this year, 73 traffic accidents involving children and teenagers have been reported in Dushanbe and seven children have been killed and 72 others have been injured in those accidents, the press service said.
