DUSHANBE, September 7, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) has issued silver commemorative coins.

According to Tajik central bank, 3,000 silver coins of 50 somoni’s denomination have been issued in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.

“The coins weigh 28 grams each and they will be sold via the National Bank of Tajikistan at 583.89 somoni per one coin,” the source said.

The coins were minted at the International Coin House in Switzerland, he added.
