Shavkat Ahmadov, an official with the Tajik Football Federation, has told Asia-Plus that last year’s champion of the republican football competition “Vakhsh” from Qurghon Teppa and holder of

’s Cup “Regar-TadAZ” from Tursunzoda will be the first to compete for the Super Cup.   

Shavkat Ahmadov also said that they had reached an agreement on holding of friendly match between the national football teams of


Tajikistan


and


Qatar


.  “At request of the Qatari side, the match is supposed to be held in


Dushanbe


on February 14,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.  

The match between “Vakhsh” and “Regar-TadAZ” for the Tajik Super Cup is planned to be held before the Tajik premier league’s championships, which will start on April 12.  

The Asia-Plus interlocutor also noted that in March-April,

’s national team would take part in the competition for the “Challenge Cup” instituted by the Asian Football Federation.  The “Challenge Cup” competition will be held in


Bangladesh


from March 24 to April 9, and 16 teams will take part in this tournament.
