DUSHANBE, September 14, Asia-Plus  — ВOn Thursday September 13, Saydullo Khairulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament), received visiting delegation of Chinese Popular National Assembly led by its deputy head He Luli (phonetically spelled).

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the lower house of the Tajik parliament, said that in the course of the talks Khairulloyev briefed Chinese MPs on work of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.  He noted that the Tajik parliament that has contacts with parliaments of many countries attaches significance to its cooperation with Chinese Popular National Assembly.

Khairulloyev highly appraised activity of Tajik and Chinese parliamentary friendship groups.

For her part, He noted that meetings of parliamentarians of the two countries are very useful and invited Khairulloyev to pay visit to China, the spokesman said.  

The Chinese parliamentary delegation arrived in Dushanbe yesterday afternoon.  Today morning, He Luli also held talks with President Emomali Rahmon.  She is also scheduled to meet with the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan upper chamber of parliament) Speaker Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev.
