KHUJAND, April30, Asia-Plus — Three persons were killed and two others were injured in Sughd’s Bobjonghafurov district on Monday as drunk driver hit them, according to the Sughd police directorate.
The accident took place in the Kistakuz jamoat. “Mercedes-Benz driven by drunk person hit a donkey-drawn carriage,” said the source. As a result of collision three persons, including two children one woman, were killed and two other women were injured.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
