DUSHANBE, June 11, Asia-Plus — As of June 1, 2008, a loan portfolio of open joint-stock company (OJSC) Orienbonk, which is one of Tajikistan’s largest financial institutions, has amounted to 580.802 million somonis (equivalent to more than $169 million), according to Orienbonk’s press service.
In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in local currency were: private commercial enterprises – 83.08 percent; agricultural enterprises – 13.16 percent; state-owned enterprises – 0.72 percent; and physical entities – 3.04 percent.
In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in foreign currencies were: private commercial enterprises – 49.06 percent; agricultural enterprises – 21.2 percent; state-owned enterprises – 29.48 percent; and physical entities – 0.26 percent.
We will recall that as of May 1, 2008, Orienbonk’s loan portfolio amounted to 590.655 million somonis (more than $172 million).
