DUSHANBE, June 11, Asia-Plus — A special operation by officers from the Interior Ministry directorate for combating drug trafficking (drug police) has led to the arrest of drug pusher in Dushanbe.
According to press service of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the 45-year-old resident of the Shahrinav district Mahmadamin Asroilov was detained in Dushanbe yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking. More than 2.5 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Asroilov and an investigation is under way.
