DUSHANBE, June 12, Asia-Plus — Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ramazan Abdulatipov today congratulated fellow-countrymen living in Tajikistan on Russia Day, press release issued by the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe said.
In his message, Abdulatipov, in particular, noted that this important date in history of the country is to pay tribute to Russian statehood and historical choice the Russian people made in the early 1990s.
According to him, adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Russia on June 12, 1990 became an important event in development of Russia and creation of conditions for strengthening of democratic foundations of Russian society.
