DUSHANBE, September 3, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Representatives of 26 countries across the world are expected to attend the next Forum of Persian-speaking People of the World due in Dushanbe on September 5-11, according to the Payvand Society (an organization for ties with fellow-countrymen living abroad).  

In all, 90 representatives of Tajik diasporas in foreign countries as well as guests from the United States, France, Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Canada, China, India, Georgia, Belgium, Israel, Morocco, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia’s states and other countries will attend the Forum and celebrations to mark the 17th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence and the 1150th birthday anniversary of founder of Tajik-Persian classical literature Abu Abdullo Roudaki, the source at Payvand said.  

According to the MFA information department head Davlat Nazriyev, during their stay in Tajikistan, the Forum participants will visit practically all the cities of Tajikistan and Roudaki’s native village – Panjroud — in Sughd’s Panjakent district.  The main celebrations dedicated to Roudaki’s jubilee will be held in Panjroud.
