The first meeting of the consultative council of region under the foreign ministry of Kyrgyzstan took place yesterday.
The main goal of the council’s creation was to unite efforts between regional administrations and diplomatic representations of Kyrgyzstan in foreign countries, promote economic interests of Kyrgyzstan, particularly, via establishing brotherly links between towns, organizing mutual visits, preparing and implementing big investment projects.
The council includes heads of all regions of Kyrgyzstan and representatives of Bishkek and Osh city halls.
The council accepted a decision on conducting thematic and special meetings, approved annual policy plan.
